Support for online participants

What you need
- A computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone and a stable internet connection (at least 5 Mbps). A desktop or laptop is recommended.
- Join in your browser: open your join page from My CPD or your booking email and the session runs inside the Manthan website (current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari). No Zoom app or Zoom account is needed. Your display name is set from your booking so we can match you to the register.
- A quiet space where you can keep your camera on and take part in discussion.
Before the workshop
- 7 days before: a welcome email with the joining guide, a link to Zoom's test meeting, the learning outcomes and pre-reading.
- If you haven't opened the joining guide or pre-reading, we remind you 48 hours before the session.
- The room opens 15 minutes early for an optional tech check with our Zoom technical host.
- Tell us about any adjustments you need (for example captions or accessibility needs) — you'll have a named contact.
- Face-to-face venues have wheelchair access. Hearing-loop or captioned slides and large-print workbooks are available on request.
During the workshop
- A dedicated Zoom technical host (who does not present content) handles technical issues by private chat or on 03 9939 9640, so the facilitator can keep teaching.
- The facilitator checks in with quieter participants during breakout work.
- If the facilitator's connection fails, the host keeps the group working on the next activity while the facilitator rejoins on a backup device; if they cannot rejoin within 15 minutes the session is rescheduled (see cancellations).
After the workshop
- Our staff verify your attendance, and your certificate appears in My CPD and is emailed to you.
- The facilitator is available by email for 5 days for content questions.
- Outside sessions, support is available at cpd@manthan.com.au with a reply within 1 business day.
If online delivery doesn't suit you, tell us: we'll let you know when a face-to-face session is scheduled, or discuss an in-house session.
