Private Study with Assessment

Some weeks there's no room for a live session. Private study lets you work through the material in your own time, then complete an assessment. Pass it and the points count towards your CPD year.

How it works

  1. 1Enrol in a topicYou get the study materials as soon as you enrol.
  2. 2Study when it suits youThere's no class to attend and no fixed date.
  3. 3Complete the assessmentFinish within 12 months of enrolling. That's an OMARA rule, not ours.
  4. 4Get your certificatePass the assessment and we issue your certificate and report your points to OMARA.

How the points count

  • Category B. Private study earns 1 point for every 1.5 hours of study.
  • Price. $33.00 per CPD point, including GST. Pay for 5 points and get 6: every 6 private study points in one order cost $165.00.
  • Points on passing. You only get the points once you've passed the assessment.
  • Not a substitute for Category A. At least 5 of your 10 points still need to come from Category A activities such as our online and face-to-face workshops.
